About Me

So to begin, any one who is on this page reading what I am about to tell you, thank you! Alright, here goes nothing!

My name is Nicole Alycia and I am currently a 19 year young college student. My major has a very long title, with a concentration and a focus area but I am going to tell you what it is anyway because I am super excited about it! I am a Social Sciences Interdisciplinary major with a concentration in Intenational Studies, focusing on Europe. Long but I think it sunds super interesting and am so excited to get learning. I am employed by a family owned business in Buffalo, the amazing Laux Sporting Goods (and for any of my followers from Buffalo feel free to stop in and say hi! I work at the Boulevard Mall store!).

I am a huge nerd! There is no denying it and I embrace it to the fullest! I love reading and the only way I will read a book is if I own it, so my bookshelves are overflowing (just the way I like them)!

Fandoms I belong to: Harry Potter, Dr. Who, Supernatural, Bones, Smallville (sadly the show ended :( ), CSI, NCIS (LA also), and those are just a few :)

In the world of literature there are a few authors I would recommend in a heart beat. I am in love with anything by Jodi Picoult! I have never read anything by her that wasn’t amazing! When I need a bit a mystery in my life I love to read books by Mary Higgins Clark. And of course, being a Harry Potter fan I must recommend anything by our queen!

Music. Quite possibly the most important part of my life. I never go a day without listening to my ipod. Music has brought me back from so many dark places, has saved me when I thought I was lost, has comforted me when I was sad, and rejoiced with me when I was happy. It is my life.

In the wizarding world, I am two years out of Hogwarts and work for the Ministry of Magic, getting my start in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office. My wand is laurel, 12 1/4 inches, with a unicorn hair core. While at Hogwarts I was in Ravenclaw but was quite good at Potions. It took a while to get used to but once I got the hang of it there wasn’t a potion I couldn’t brew!

What I want out of life: My goal in life is to be happy. I know what it is like to be depressed and I don’t like it. It ruined, what should have been an amazing experience, and I can never recover from that. But I have been working through it. I know what it is like to hurt yourself. I never took a razor to my wrist but what I would do to myself was just as bad. After six years of dstroying my skin, I have been relatively clean since May 2011.

Goals: My goal is to graduate from college and then attend Law School. After Law School I would love to work for the FBI or some other type of government job. I want a family, at least 3 kids. I want to live a comfortable lifestyle. There will only be one requirement I make when buying a house … I need a room to turn into a library. It’s something I have always wanted and I want my children to be raised with a love for books.
